Shipping Policy

ALL ORDERS TAKE 7-10 WORKING DAYS FOR DELIVERY

Lithium Ion batteries are categorised as class 9 Dangerous Goods and are subject to ADR and IATA transport restrictions. Roamer Batteries have partnered with multiple dangerous goods approved parcel and freight delivery couriers to enable legal and compliant delivery to almost any European destination.

Due to the nature and value of the products, deliveries must be signed for. It is not possible to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place. We will therefore make every effort to make a successful delivery on the first attempt and will contact you before shipping. Please note that until delivery is confirmed with by phone or email, we cannot send out your battery. Orders Under 30kg

Smaller batteries are shipped with a standard courier. You will be provided with a tracking link via email after the battery has been despatched and you will also receive a specific time slot for delivery. European,UK,ni,roi deliveries will take 7-10 days.

 

Orders Over 30kg

Larger batteries and multiple battery orders will be shipped with either a freight (pallet) or two man delivery service. This means the delivery vehicle could a full size 18 Ton lorry - if you expect any access issues, please let us know before despatch. Delivery is usually within 7-10 working days from the date your order is placed.European deliveries will take an additional 7-10 days. Delivery time window is usually 0900 to 1700 and tracking is not provided.

UK,NI,ROI deliveries - Free

UK , Northern Ireland,Republic of Ireland deliveries are free of charge 

Channel Islands - £100

Due to the additional costs incurred with shipping to these areas its necessary to charge an extra £100 (if under 30kg) or £200 (if over 30kg). Please select the relevant option at the checkout - failure to do so will mean need to invoice this separately which will add processing time. Delivery will be within 10-14 days.

European Union - Free

The cost of delivery, VAT and any import duties are included for all EU customer in the price you pay at the checkout. There are no additional charges. Currently we can only ship to Europe via road. This means that with exception of Ireland, we cannot send to any islands or locations that require sea or air transport. EU countries we can deliver to are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark (limited), Finland (limited), France (mainland only), Germany (mainland only), Greece (mainland only), Hungary, Ireland, Italy (mainland only), Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal (mainland only), Spain (mainland only).

Please note that large batteries over 30kg can currently only be delivered free of charge to Belgium, The Netherlands, Ireland, France (mainland only), Germany (mainland only) and Austria. If you require delivery to an alternative country, please get in touch with us at service@nomad-leisure.com Its usually possible but will require a custom shipping arrangement and an additional fee.

Non-EU European countries

It is also possible to deliver to non-EU countries including Andorra, Albania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway and Switzerland. However, the price paid at the checkout will be excluding VAT. You are responsible for any import VAT and duty charges incurred, on arrival into the destination country. Batteries over 30kg can currently only be delivered free of charge to Switzerland and Lichtenstein. Returns & Refunds

We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or an exchange.

  • All return requests must be within 14 days of the purchase date. You have another 14 days to return the item after the initial request.
  • Batteries must be in new and unused condition (we will check the BMS for charge cycles).
  • If you have installed or cycled your battery then we may still be able to accept your return, however we may offer a reduced amount instead of the full refund.

How to return

  • Please email customer service service@nomad-leisire.com
  • to obtain a return authorisation.
  • Place the item securely in its original packaging and return your battery to the address below. Please write your name clearly on the outside of the box. If you are using a courier then it is your responsibility to ensure that they are aware of the relevant Dangerous Goods transport restrictions.
  • Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges.
  • Alternatively we can arrange for collection via our Dangerous Goods shipping service (we will charge £100 shipping fees, per battery).

Refunds

  • After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange
  • Please allow up to 14 days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange
  • We will notify you by email when your return has been processed

Exceptions

  • For defective or damaged products, please contact our customer service team to arrange a free refund or exchange under warranty
